We decided to partner with Homes for Heroes in an effort to honor our current and future clients that are real-life heroes. How do heroes benefit?

This organization provides significant financial incentives for veterans, healthcare professionals, firefighters, EMS, police officers, teachers, and members of the military when working with us during their real estate transactions.

Who qualifies as a hero?

Qualifying heroes include but are not limited to current and former firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, law enforcement, and all other first responders. All ranks of active military, reserves, and veterans of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. All nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals. Also, Pre-K, elementary, secondary, and post-secondary educators, teachers, professors, and education administrative staff.

I am a hero. How does the program work?

When a Hero works with Alicia and I to buy or sell a house, they can save 0.7% of the home purchase price, or $700.00 on every $100,000 of the purchase price. After closing on a house, Homes for Heroes will send you a check. As an example, the median sold price of a home in Marin County in February 2022 was $1,550,000. So, on a transaction with a sale or purchase price of $1,550,000, a hero would receive a check back from Homes for Heroes for $10,850.

As an added benefit, if you choose to work with a Homes for Heroes mortgage, title, or inspection affiliate, you can save big on lender fees, title services, and on your home inspection.

The Homes for Heroes Foundation is a charitable 501(C)3 foundation established to help heroes by helping them save money as they buy, sell, or refinance a home.

By working with Homes for Heroes, Inc., you are participating in their Circle of Giving to help heroes in need. Because not only does Homes for Heroes, Inc. cover all foundation expenses, but it also donates a portion of its earnings to the Homes for Heroes Foundation.
